Trade Estates REIC launches two new Pepco stores in its commercial parks in Thessaloniki and Ioannina.

More specifically, a store with a total area of 676 sq.m. is expected to start operating in August 2023, at the Florida 1 Commercial Park in Pylaia, Thessaloniki. Florida 1 is one of the largest commercial parks in Greece, it extends over a plot of 132,000 sq.m. and has commercial spaces with a total area of 32,000 sq.m. It is a pole of attraction for the residents of the wider area, as it has plenty of shops for shopping with comfortable free parking spaces, while it is easily accessible by public transport.

Another new Pepco store is expected to operate by the end of July 2023 in the Top Parks Commercial Park of Ioannina. The store, with a total area of 507 sq.m., is located on the ground floor of the Park, which extends to commercial areas of 27,200 sq.m. and will co-house IKEA, H&M and two more international clothing companies to be announced soon.

The CEO of Trade Estates, Dimitris Papoulis, said: "We are excited as Pepco's presence in our shopping parks expands with new points of sale in Thessaloniki and Ioannina. Given that the operation of the chain's 1st store in Greece, at Top Parks Piraeus, exceeded all expectations of performance, we are sure that the continuation will be similar, as thousands of consumers choose our commercial parks for their daily shopping".

Pepco's Retail Director, Anca Radu, said: "After the successful launch of our first store in Greece at Top Parks Piraeus, we are expanding our partnership to the Trade Estates parks in Thessaloniki and Ioannina. Pepco's strategic plan is to bring its brand and product mix to every major city in the country. Trade Estates is a strategic partner for our expansion in the Greek market, and we are already considering collaborations in new projects developed by this company".
