The project to restart the long-suffering Student Housing of Zografou University of Technology (FEZ) continues with decisive steps, after the approval of the funding of 523,180.80 euros from the Region of Attica for the selection of Consultants (Legal, Technical and Financial), the who will launch, together with the NTUA, the tender process for the selection and selection of the contractor who will undertake the study, renovation and maintenance of the emblematic building.

The Rector's Council of the NTUA and the Rector A. Boutouvis, on the occasion of the positive development, expressed their warmest thanks to the Regional Council of the Attica Region and in particular the Regional Governor of Attica G. Patoulis for his strong interest and decisive actions in order to speed up the approval of financing.

It is recalled that the total renovation of the Zografou Student Residence, with a budget of 40,000,000.00 euros, has been included in the list of PPP projects by decision of the Interministerial Committee. Also, it is noted that the final studies and the application studies were prepared by the Alexandros S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation and were delivered to NTUA through a donation.
