The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in November 2023 amounted to 9.4% compared to the
upwards revised 11.9% in November 2022 and to the downwards revised 9.4% in October 2023.
The number of employed persons amounted to 4,161,930 persons, increased by 12,025 persons as compared with November 2022 (0.3%) and decreased by 87,722 persons compared with October 2023 (-2.1%).
The number of unemployed persons amounted to 429,806, decreased by 130,997 persons as compared with November 2022 (-23.4%) and by 12,156 persons compared with October 2023 (-2.8%).
The number of persons outside the labour force, i.e., persons under the age of 75, that neither work nor
look for a job, amounted to 3,198,315, increased by 91,820 persons as compared with November 2022
(3.0%) and by 97,602 persons compared with October 2023 (3.1%).
