Following its announcement dated July 17, 2025, regarding the signing of a hotel acquisition agreement in the Canary Islands (Gran Canaria) with Nordic Leisure Travel Group (“NLTG”), Premia announces that the transaction was completed on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Specifically, Premia has acquired 100% of the share capital of HOTELES SUNWING S.A.U., the company that owns the Sunwing Arguineguin hotel — a 4-star property with 252 keys located in the Municipality of Mogán, Gran Canaria, Spain (the “Hotel”). The seller is AIRTOURS RESORT OWNERSHIP ESPAÑA, S.L.U, a company wholly owned by the NLTG group. The transaction value amounted to €64,000,000, subject to customary legal, technical, and financial due diligence adjustments.
NLTG, which has successfully operated the Hotel for the past 39 years, will continue to do so as a long-term tenant under a 15-year triple-net lease agreement, with two optional extensions of five years each, for a potential total term of 25 years.
The initial annual rent, effective from October 1, 2025, is set at €4,640,000, subject to annual adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
The acquisition was financed through a loan facility provided by the National Bank of Greece.
Mr. Ilias Georgiadis, CEO of Sterner Stenhus and Chairman of Premia, made the following statement:
“We are expanding our investments in the tourism sector in strategic partnership with NLTG. In less than a year, we have assembled a portfolio of 1,050 hotel rooms valued at €180 million. Our goal for the next two years is to surpass 2,000 rooms, seizing new investment opportunities and enhancing Premia’s profitability.”
