METLEN is once again inviting recent engineering graduates to join the new cycle of its flagship “Engineers in Action” program. This one-year, fully paid internship offers young engineers the opportunity to put their academic knowledge into practice in real working environments, serving as a high-level “school” of hands-on experience.

Following last year’s successful expansion, the program is being implemented for the second consecutive year not only in Greece, but also in the UK and Italy, offering participants valuable international exposure and perspectives.

In the United Kingdom, the program is now running for the second consecutive year, building on its strong legacy in Greece, where it has been established for over a decade as a benchmark initiative. Notably, all participating engineers have secured employment within three months of completion, with many joining METLEN in permanent positions. Over the years, more than 260 young engineers have taken part in Greece, with 125 still with the company today — a testament to the program’s long-term impact.

Through their participation, young engineers are called upon to tackle complex projects and develop skills that will serve them throughout their careers. As a result, METLEN has become a reference point for those seeking to take their first professional steps in a safe, promising, and inspiring environment. Participant satisfaction has consistently remained above 90%.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Work at one of the leading industrial and energy companies, with strong international footprint.
  • Contribute to projects with global impact.
  • Experience the dynamic world of industrial and energy operations through exciting projects.
  • Build key skills in time management, presentations, MS Office, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and more.
  • Receive guidance from experienced professionals and gain the tools to solve complex problems and deliver on demanding projects.
