LAMDA Development secures one more award that refers to the disabled building complex in The Ellinikon. The property was awarded a LEED Platinum certification, exceeding the conditions and criteria of green development.

According to the company's announcement, this "platinum" distinction reflects Lamda Development's dedication to creating projects that have a strong social impact and contribute to a greener future.

The new, European model, state-of-the-art Care Center for People with Disabilities, has been operating since October 2023 in Elliniko and currently houses 4 PWD unions. The building, which is the first to be constructed with LAMDA Development's own funds -more than 15 million euros- in The Elliniko, was delivered as scheduled to the municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli.

The goal for its construction was to cover the needs of 4 disabled associations, which until now were operating in facilities of 1970, of only 2,500 square meters. The total construction of the building complex is 11,500 sq.m. on a plot of 7,400 sq.m., while more than 8,000 plants have been planted in its outdoor areas.
