Industrial MPI surges 34,6% in March

The Overall Import Price Index (MPI) in Industry with base year 2015 in March 2022 recorded an increase of 34.6% compared with March 2021.

According to ELSTAT, the reported increase is mainly attributed to the

a. 50.3% increase in the MPI of the Non-Eurozone Market and,

b. 8.0% increase in the MPI of the Eurozone Market
