The Growthfund (HCAP) has officially signed the contract to develop the northern section of the “Sani Kassandra” property in the Sani area, Municipality of Kassandra.

The contractor for the project is Sani Single-Member Public Limited Company for Development and Tourism, which was declared the winning bidder in the tender completed last June.

The total contract price amounted to €4 million, paid in a lump sum, and the tender process was conducted in a single phase.

The contract was signed by Panagiotis Stamboulidis, Deputy CEO of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP), and on behalf of the company, Lambis Pachygiannakis, Senior Director of Acquisitions and Investments. Also present at the signing ceremony were Eleanna Karvouni, Director of the Greek Legal Department of the group, and the company’s legal representatives, Theologos Mintzas and Valia Anastasopoulou.

The property, with a total area of 642,280.42 m², constitutes the northern part of a larger estate of 915,099.72 m² and is located at “Metochi Stavronikita”, outside the boundaries of the Municipal Unit of Kassandra. The area is noted for its exceptional natural beauty and significant environmental and tourism interest.

According to the General Urban Plan, the property’s use is subject to specific urban planning and environmental restrictions, as it is located within a Protected Archaeological Zone and entirely within a High Agricultural Productivity Zone.

The agreement marks another step in the HCAP’s efforts to utilize public assets to attract investments and promote local economic development, while respecting the environmental characteristics of the area.
