Repayments for the "repayable advance payment program" have all been postponed for June, 30 2022

Companies that have recorded a drop turnover of more than 70% and recorded losses before taxes, will have to repay 25% of the government loan.

Extensions to the repayment schedule of the "repayable advance payment scheme" were announced by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Christos Staikouras, while addressing the Plenary Session on the State Budget of 2022.

In particular the Greek Government announced that the payment deadline for the first 60 interest-free installments of the  repayable advance payment scheme will be extended from January 31, 2022, to June 30, 2022.

In addition, it will be possible to repay the total amount by March 31, 2022 with a 15% discount on the amount to be returned.

It is also been reminded that companies that have recorded a drop turnover of more than 70% and recorded losses before taxes, will have to repay 25% of the government loan.

Businesses with a 30% to 70% drop in turnover and a drop in gross revenue in 2020 to 2019 will repay 33% of the government loan.

The rest of the firms -for all seven rounds- will have to repay 50% of the government loan.

Finally, for the companies that it was proved that have been affected by the fires that broke out in areas of the Greek territory from the 1st of May until the 2nd of September 2021, the refundable amount has been cancelled.
