Rainwater drainage works in Varnavas region of Marathonas

Local authorities decided the beginning of rainwater drainage works in the Varnavas Community of the Municipality of Marathonas. The works will be key for the flood protection of the area upon completion, after the signing of the relevant contract by Attica Regional Governor G. Patoulis. of the Mayor of Marathon S. Tsirkas.

The projects will be financed by the Attica Region with a total budget of approximately €3.3 million.

The signing of the relevant contract by Mr. Patoulis at the Regional offices, was also attended by the Deputy Regional Governor of Eastern Attica Th. Avgerinos and the Director of Technical Works of the regional unit of Eastern Attica G. Asproulakis.

The projects envisage the construction of rainwater pipes of about 4 thousand meters and the construction of wells for collection and visit of the network.
