Two new Hellenic Land Registry' branches were inaugurated in Volos and Skiathos island

Two new branches of the Hellenic Land Registry, one in Volos and another in Skiathos island, have just been opened for public.

Now 14 of the 17 Land Registry Offices and 59 of their 75 branches are operational.

In particular, Volos Branch headquartered in Volos (Government Gazette 5910/Β/10-10-2023) inaugurated operations on Wednesday, November 8thh, 2023 and the Skiathos Branch headquartered in Skiathos on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 (Government Gazette 6355/Β) /06-11-2023) of the Hellenic Land Registry.

As noted in the relevant announcement, after the inclusion of the above mortgage registries in the Hellenic Land Registry Agency, 14 of the 17 Land Registry Offices and 59 of their 75 Branches are now operational. In the following period the final structure of branches will be delivered to serve the public.

Digital upgrade of the Greek Hellenic Land Registry is also been enhanced in order the administration be fully complied with the current digital age, reducing bureaucracy and minimizing the time cost of transactions.

With the launch of the Land Offices, after the abolition of the mortgage registries, almost all of the Land Office functions will be carried out digitally.
