Trastor acquires Italgas' Greek premises in “POLITEIA BUSINESS CENTER”

Trastor acquires the offices in Politia Business Center at 109-111 Mesogeion Avenue.

In particular, Trastor REIC inked a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100% of the shares of a company with the trade name “KYNOURIA KTIMATIKI MONOPROSOPI ANONYMI ETAIREIA”. The KYNOURIA company owns offices spaces, including storage and parking spaces, with a total surface area of 7,261sq.m., erected in a business center under the name “POLITEIA BUSINESS CENTER”, at 109-111 Mesogeion Avenue, in Athens.

The offices are leased to Italgas - that now owns DEPA Infrastructure, the main natural gas distributor in Greece- one of the leading energy groups in Europe. 

The total consideration for the acquisition of the shares amounted to €20.4 million and is equal to the net asset value of the acquired company at the time of closing. 

The purchase will be financed through Trastor's recently announced capital increase of €75 million. 

As for the remaining c. €54 million funds of the increase, these will be allocated to finance the purchase agreements of the two Karpathios companies that own the three 30,100 sq.m. warehouses. 10,981 sq.m. and 4,545 sq.m. in Aspropyrgos, for the construction of an office building on a plot of land purchased by the company in Marousi, for the upgrading of a second office building in Amarousiou Chalandriou, and for the construction of storage areas on a plot of land with a total area of 21,046.40 sq.m., owned by the company, located in the location "MELISSIA" Aspropyrgos Attica.

These funds will be used to finance investment agreements that the company already has and will conclude in the office and logistics sectors in the coming year. These investments will incorporate all modern sustainability features, improving productivity, health, and safety of their users.
