The new Attica Capital Taxation Center (KEFOK) of the Independent Public Revenue Authority will be operational from Monday 22/4, to which the responsibilities of property transfer and property ownership taxation of the Attica Prefectural Tax Office will gradually be transferred.

In particular, the responsibilities of the DOUs are transferred to KEFOK Attica: FAE Athens, Shipping, Koropi, Pallini, Cholargos and Foreign Residents & Alternative Taxation of Tax Residents.

From 19/4/2024, at 2:30 p.m., the six (6) DOUs will cease to be available in the "My Requests" application for property transfer and property ownership tax cases, and taxpayers will be served:

- digitally, from KEFOK Attica, in the application "My Requests", through the digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) or from myAADEapp

- by phone, from the Taxpayer Service Center (TAC), at +30 213 162 1000, during working days and hours 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It is being reminded that a major organizational restructuring of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue and its transition to its new operating model, presented at the beginning of the year by its Governor, Giorgos Pitsilis, continues at a steady pace.

Key elements of the new model are:

1. The establishment of centralized services in Attica and Thessaloniki (Certification and Collection Centers, Capital Tax Centers, Tax Procedures and Service Centers), to which all the functions currently performed by the Tax Offices are transferred.

2. The evolution of the current Tax Offices of Attica and Thessaloniki into new-type services, without specific local competence, which will operate as Tax Service Services. Staffed with experienced and specialized personnel, in spaces with a modern and ergonomic design, which will offer functional efficiency and spatial flexibility, with a minimal environmental footprint, the new services will focus on welcoming, informing and directly serving taxpayers who will be guided in the use of digital applications and facilitated in their tax obligations’ correct fulfillment.
