This is a project of major importance, expected to play a pivotal role in the sustainable management of water resources, addressing the impacts of drought, and supporting agricultural production.
With the operation of the dam, which will have a reservoir capacity of approximately 30.2 million cubic meters of water, along with the associated networks, it is estimated that around 50,000 hectares of cultivable land, stretching from Corinth to Kiato, will be irrigated.
