When completed, the Tobruk power plant will be able to provide more than 740MW.

The new unit will be built on a company-owned plot, recently purchased for this purpose in the 1st Industrial Zone of Volos.

The total cost of the project amounts to €386 million, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport is the Contracting Authority.

The budget for the project is 10,696,860 euros and has been included in the public investment program.
