Thomas Cook announced on Tuesday that its consortium, Thomas Cook Hotel Investments (TCHI), has acquired two new hotel properties in Greece, including the company's flagship hotel, Casa Cook Kos.

Following these acquisitions, the joint venture has almost doubled its portfolio in one year, in nine locations, four of which are located in Greece.

The consortium purchased Casa Cook Kos, which has 100 rooms and is the most popular hotel unit owned by the Thomas Cook brand, according to customers' comments, as well as an area in Kos where it is planning to build a Cook Club Hotel of 250 rooms for the next summer.
