The Villa Klonaridis-Fix under restoration
A modern sustainable urban park, in the standards of international trends.
The first restoration works in "Villa Klonaridis", which is located for over 120 years in Fix Park, in Patissia, now in progress.
Crews of the Municipality of Athens are implementing the first support and restoration works, which are expected to be completed by April, while at the same time the procedures for the preparation of studies for the complete restoration of the building have been launched.
In a statement, the Municipality emphasizes that the restoration of the historic Villa is the last major intervention in the area of the park "Klonaridis - Fix", which was "re-introduced" to the Athenian citizens last May, as a modern sustainable urban park, in the standards of international trends in landscape architecture and environmental design.
Two months later, (July 2021), the Municipality of Athens proceeded to the reopening of the historic summer cinema AB, which remained closed for three decades and which in combination with the neighboring park Klonaridis created two reference points for the residents and visitors of Patissia ".
