BriQ purchases Canadian Embassy's former premises in Athens

BriQ Properties R.E.I.C. announces that on December 19, 2018 acquired a stand-alone corner building, at a premium location and with exceptional visibility, located at 4, I. Gennadiou Str. and Ypsilantou Str. in Kolonaki area (central business district of Athens).

The building has a total surface of 1,629.30 sq.m. and it comprises of a basement, ground floor and six above-ground floors.

It housed the Canadian Embassy until the middle of 2015.

BriQ Properties acquired the property at a total price of four million seven hundred and fifty thousand euros (€ 4,750,000).

Mrs. Anna Apostolidou, the Company's CEO, noted that "the Company continues to implement its investment plan through strategic real estate acquisitions.

We are really pleased with this acquisition, as stand-alone buildings in the center of Athens, in such exceptional locations, are rare while at the same time there is increased demand for such properties from tenants.

We are examining all potential uses for the property in order to maximize our return on investment.
