Construction production index in 7.2% in second quarter of 2025

According to data released by ELSTAT, the Production Index in Construction recorded a 7.2% increase in Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024. This marks a slowdown in growth relative to the 15.5% year-on-year increase observed in Q2 2024 compared to Q2 2023.

According to data from ELSTAT, the index recorded a 44% increase in Q2 2025 compared to the corresponding index in Q1 2025, versus a 29.3% increase observed in the same period of the previous year (Q2 2024 compared to Q1 2024).

The seasonally adjusted index rose by 9.8% in Q2 2025 compared to the corresponding index in Q1 2025.
