The telecommunications giant Verizon Communications is relocating its headquarters to larger offices in Manhattan, reflecting increased in-office requirements for most of its managers and employees.

Verizon has announced plans to relocate its headquarters to PENN 2, a new office tower in Midtown, starting in 2026.

The long-term lease covers over 195,000 square feet and will accommodate approximately 1,000 corporate employees, aiming to enhance collaboration and innovation within a modern workspace, according to the company’s statement.

With a new retail store opening nearby on Seventh Avenue and more than 400 stores across New York City, Verizon continues to be an integral part of the metropolitan area.

The new headquarters offers strategic access to major transit lines and aligns with the company’s long-term commitment to New York, further strengthening its partnerships in the sports and entertainment sectors.
