In particular, ERGOSE delivered the last part of the modern electronic signaling and remote control system, from Oinoi to Tithorea, which completes the contractual object of contract 717.
At the same time, the upgraded Traffic Control Center of the SKA - Tithorea department was delivered, within the existing space of the KEK SKA.
Until today, the following departments had been delivered for use by the OSE, which were in operation:
4/11/2015, signaling in the Platy - Thessaloniki section
9/12/2021, remote management of Thessaloniki
10/12/2021, signaling in the section Thessaloniki - Strymonas - Promahonas
1/11/2022, signaling in the Domokos - Larissa section
26/7/2023, signaling in the SKA-Oinoi section
8/8/2023, signaling in the Larissa - Platy section and remote control of Larissa.
The Managing Director of ERGOSE, Mr. Christos Palios, noted in this regard: "ERGOSE, in cooperation with OSE and all the agencies involved, handed over the Oinoi - Tithorea signaling section and the remote control center to SKA for use, completing the last part of contract 717 , within the timetables set by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Given the devastation left behind by successive bad weather in Thessaly, ERGOSE remains available and determined to do whatever is necessary, with the ultimate goal of creating a safe railway network".
