The Hellenic Cadastre has officially announced the launch of the Electronic Pledge Registry, which is now publicly accessible at enexyra.ktimatologio.gr.

The new Registry fully implements the provisions of Law 5123/2024 and marks the beginning of a unified, fully digital process for the registration and search of security interests on movable assets and receivables.

Replacing the old manual pledge books entirely, the Registry is now maintained centrally and exclusively in digital form by the Hellenic Cadastre. It functions as a descriptive database covering the entire country. Access to the Registry and search functionalities is provided through a single online platform, in accordance with the applicable legal framework for public registries.

Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Christos Dermendzopoulos stated:

"The launch of the Electronic Pledge Registry represents another important step in the digital transformation of public administration. With a focus on transparency, speed, and reliability, we are building digital infrastructure that effectively serves citizens. Through this new initiative, the Hellenic Cadastre plays a key role in shaping a modern, trusted, and fully digital ecosystem for secured transactions."

Key Features of the Registry:

  • Electronic submission of pledge registration applications by certified attorneys.
  • Automatic verification of identity data for individuals and legal entities based on their tax identification number (AFM).
  • Digital upload of all required documents, including contracts, pledge annexes, and authorizations.
  • Option for simultaneous request of a formal certification document.
  • Issuance of digital certificates and official copies with a unique system-generated authentication code.
