The sale of the Agapi Beach Resort hotel located in Ammoudara, Heraklion, Crete, from where the construction of the Sbokou Hotel chain began, shall be a family affair.

MAKRINOI Orizontes SA, the hotel's owner, was sold by Phāea Resorts (Golf Residences SA) to the company ENFAE TOURIST ENTERPRISES SA of Fotis N. Sbokou business interests.

The 4-star, 321-room Agapi Beach Hotel is located in Ammoudara, Heraklion and operates as a premium all-inclusive resort. Its construction was started in 1976 by Giannis V. Sbokos, Mechanical Electrical Engineer, and its opening took place in 1978. The course of the hotel was consistently successful, always maintaining high percentages of repeat customers. Agapi Beach with a total area of ​​43 acres, has a main building, bungalows and suites, 3 swimming pools, beach, 4 restaurants and 3 bars, conference rooms, sports facilities, shops, kids club and spa.

Always maintaining high standards in the provision of services and infrastructure and with special emphasis on the principles of sustainability, it has been distinguished with important awards and certifications, such as the first TUI CARE Foundation - Sustainability Global Hotel Award in 2020, Green Key 2021, Travel Life 2021 and TUI Top Quality 2022. It also participated as one of the first hotels in the pilot program "Crete: First steps towards a Sustainable Food Destination" by Futouris and the TUI Care Foundation, in the years 2016-2019.
