The U.S. commercial real estate market, which has seen sales nearly come to a halt, will rebound when buyers have enough financial cushion to sustain further price declines, said the head of Goldman Sachs Group Inc Real Estate Principal Investment Area. The credit crisis has dried up financing for real estate and buyers are scarce. As vacancies rise and rents soften, some overextended borrowers may be pushed into default.
