Grivalia Properties received four significant distinctions at the 2017 Awards Ceremony of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA), for consistency and transparency of two annual reports that were released this year, being the first Greek company to ever receive such distinctions by EPRA.

Grivalia achieved the highest scoring of compliance with EPRAs Best  Practices Recommendations on financial reporting (BPR) and sustainability reporting (S-BPR), marking significant improvement, compared to last year, in aligning its annual reports with these internationally recognized standards set by EPRA.

The Company received a “Gold BPR” award and a "BPR Most Improved” award for its 2016 Financial Report, in addition to a ”Gold S-BPR” award and an "S-BPR Most Improved” award  for its 2016 Sustainability Performance Report.

Mr. George Chryssikos, Chief Executive Officer of Grivalia Properties, stated: “We are very pleased to be the first Greek company to receive EPRA BPR and S-BPR awards.

These prizes awarded by an internationally recognizable institution, confirm our commitment to publishing annual reports that are in-line with the highest international standards. I would like to warmly thank all our people at Grivalia Properties, who work every day in order to achieve such meaningful results and receive such unique distinctions”.

The assessment of the annual reports of the participating companies is carried out by Deloitte Real Estate, which prepares the Best Practices Recommendations questionnaire as defined EPRA.

EPRA is a renowned non-profit association of the largest European listed real estate companies and institutional investors.

With more than 220 members, it covers the whole spectrum of the listed real estate industry, representing over EUR 365 billion of real estate assets and 93% of the market capitalisation of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Europe Index.
