Japanese automotive company Calsonic Kansei is expanding its business in Romania by investing 30 million euro ($35.2 million) in an electronic components factory, the Romanian ministry for business environment, commerce and entrepreneurship revealed according to seenews.com.

The new factory in the southern city of Ploiesti will employ some 300 people, the ministry said in a press release.

It did not provide a timeframe for the investment.
